Rolls are 50 m long in 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 5 and 6 m widths. Compare widths and pick the one that suits your structure.
You need about
7 rolls
75% shade net, 2 m × 50 m · about 67 kg

| Roll size | Rolls | Approx. weight |
|---|---|---|
| 14 rolls | ≈ 63 kg | |
| 10 rolls | ≈ 70 kg | |
| 7 rolls | ≈ 67 kg | |

Plastic Shuttering Sheet

Add the slab, and beams and columns if you need them, to estimate sheets for one pour.
For one pour you need about
42 sheets
Recycled plastic shuttering sheets, 8 × 4 ft
Formwork area: 1,200 sq ft (111.5 m²)

Planning estimate for one pour. Plastic sheets are reused floor after floor, so one set can serve the next slab too. Available sizes, thickness and price are confirmed with your quotation.
How many shade net rolls do I need for 1 acre?
1 acre is about 4,047 m². Adding 10% for overlap and fixing, you need about 4,450 m² of net — roughly 15 rolls of 6 m × 50 m, 18 rolls of 5 m × 50 m or 30 rolls of 3 m × 50 m. Use the calculator for side walls or a different grade.
How do I calculate shade net for a rectangular area?
Lay strips along the longer side. Divide the shorter side by the roll width and round up to get the number of strips, multiply by the longer side, add about 10% for overlaps and tying, then divide by the 50 m roll length and round up.
How many 8 × 4 ft shuttering sheets do I need for a 1,000 sq ft slab?
One 8 × 4 ft sheet covers 32 sq ft. 1,000 sq ft plus 10% for cutting is 1,100 sq ft, so about 35 sheets for one pour. Beams and columns add more; the calculator includes them.
How is beam and column shuttering area calculated?
For a beam, add the bottom width and both side depths, then multiply by the beam length. For a column, multiply its perimeter by its height. Multiply each by how many there are.
Are these figures exact?
No — they are planning estimates. Site layout, joins and cutting change the real quantity. Send your estimate on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form and we will confirm sizes, quantity and price.
