Overview

Light where it helps. Shade where it protects.

Strong sun can scorch leaves, dry out soil and slow growth. A shade net lets you decide how much light reaches the crop, while keeping the air underneath cooler.

Our green agriculture shade net is woven from 100% virgin HDPE tape with UV-stabilised grades, and supplied in standard roll widths for open fields, tunnels, nurseries and buildings.

  • Made from 100% virgin HDPE
  • UV-stabilised grades
  • High tensile strength for long, taut spans
  • Lightweight rolls that are easy to install

Available shade percentages

How to choose a shade factor

The shade factor is the share of direct sunlight the net blocks. Pick it by crop, season and what is underneath. Select a grade to compare.

50%

Approx. 50% of direct sunlight blocked · Standard

General-purpose shade for vegetables, nurseries and hardening of seedlings.

Benefits

What a good shade net does for a crop

Sunlight control

Each shade factor blocks a set share of direct sunlight, so plants get light without scorching.

Crop protection

Shields leaves and young plants from excess sun and helps reduce wind and pest damage.

Lower heat stress

A cooler canopy reduces heat stress on crops, livestock and people working underneath.

Water efficiency

Shaded soil loses less moisture to evaporation, which helps irrigation go further.

FAQ

Shade net questions

Can't find your answer? Ask us directly.

  • Which shade percentage should I choose?

Use 50% for most vegetables and nursery seedlings, 75% for ornamentals, foliage plants and livestock shelters, and 90% where you need maximum shade, such as construction facades or shade-loving plants. Tell us your crop and location and we will suggest a grade.

  • What is the shade net made of?

Our green agriculture shade net is made from 100% virgin HDPE, available in UV-stabilised grades.

  • What sizes are available?

Standard rolls are 50 m long in widths from 1 m to 6 m. Share the area you want to cover and we will work out the roll sizes and quantity.

  • Can the same net be used on construction sites?

Yes. Green shade net is widely used to wrap building facades and scaffolding, where it reduces dust and sun exposure for workers. Higher shade factors are usually preferred for this use.

  • Do you help with installation?

Send us your structure details through the enquiry form or WhatsApp and we will discuss installation support for your site.
