Recycled PlasticShuttering Sheet

Also known as plastic fibre shuttering ply — a water-resistant, reusable formwork sheet made from recycled plastic, built to replace timber-based ply on site.

Product overview

Formwork that doesn't give up in the monsoon.

Plywood shuttering soaks up water, swells, peels apart and attracts termites — and much of it ends up as waste after a few pours. Our recycled plastic shuttering sheet is made to do the same job without those weaknesses.

It takes nails, holds concrete in shape and can be stripped, cleaned and used again on the next pour.

Reusability · Waterproof character · Strength

Built to be used again

Reusable

Designed to be stripped, cleaned and used again across multiple pours, reducing the number of boards a project consumes.

Waterproof character

Plastic does not soak up curing water or slurry, so the sheet does not swell, rot or peel apart in the monsoon.

Strong and durable

A dense recycled-plastic body that takes nails and site handling, and keeps its shape under fresh concrete.

Better for the planet

Gives plastic waste a second life and reduces dependence on timber-based shuttering ply.

Comparison

Recycled plastic vs conventional plywood

Sustainability benefits

Less timber. Less waste. Longer use.

  • Gives post-use plastic a second, long working life
  • Reduces dependence on timber-based shuttering ply
  • Repeated use means fewer boards bought and discarded per project
  • Does not rot, so sheets are not lost to monsoon damage

FAQ

Shuttering sheet questions

Can't find your answer? Ask us directly.

  • What is a recycled plastic shuttering sheet?

It is a formwork sheet made from recycled plastic, used in place of plywood to hold fresh concrete in shape. It is also called plastic fibre shuttering ply or a sustainable shuttering panel.

  • How is it different from plywood shuttering?

Plywood absorbs water, can swell, delaminate and attract termites, and is usually thrown away after a limited number of uses. A recycled plastic sheet does not absorb water, resists termites and is designed for repeated use.

  • Can I nail and cut it on site?

Yes. The sheet can be nailed, fixed and re-fixed using normal site practice.

  • How many times can it be reused?

Reuse depends on how the sheets are handled, cleaned and stored on site. Contact us with your project details and we will share guidance for your application.

  • Which sizes and thicknesses are available?

Please send your requirement through the enquiry form or WhatsApp and we will confirm available sizes, thickness and pricing.
